VALENTINE'S BUILD UP
The heart never forgets! Already struck by the love of cupids arrow, we’re rediscovering our inner beauty. Two weeks prior to Valentine’s Day, love was truly in the air at the Devonshire. From Eileen S’s trademark ‘kiss blow’ that spreads joy on-the-go and the bright colours of Devika’s Valentines’ paintings- we’ve fallen for February already. Being serenaded with flowers, Muriel M was delighted to receive a single Rose and Eileen E was overjoyed, saying ‘thanks’ to the bunch’ and such a fabulous gesture. Love struck at the thought of more activities, our Residents can’t get enough of the fun filled build up. Far from a blind date - they’re clearly seen to be stimulated by the universal language of love. At the forefront of our sights, we’re inter-changing the conventions of love to make your loved feel as comfortable as possible.

Valentine's Day
The loved continued at the Devonshire on Monday February 14th as our Residents were uplifted by love from every angle, and up above! From Margaret’s blush that was almost as red as the rose she received to a red velvet cake that was so nice it had to be seen to be believed, St Valentine struck with pinpoint accuracy to the hearts of our Residents.
Valentine's day may appear to be all about the roses, the chocolates, and the gifts, but it is actually about the powerful energy of love that we all experience in our all-unique ways. We all show joy differently, with the same meaning, and this was on full display at the Devonshire, as we captured the hearts and smiles of our favourite people!

Florence has a fast rush of happiness!
We were lucky enough to capture all three stages of her emotions, as we delicately approached Muriel, placed the rose into her hand, and watched with joy as a moment of magic was created! Staring into its beauty, I think she was pleased to say the least!
One is just as fun. Catherine C created some magic from
