Life at the Devonshire - SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS IN DECEMBER
Welcome to our Christmas edition of our digital newsletter called 'Life at the Devonshire'. We always welcome your feedback and suggestions.
Happy reading!
Stay Safe and well from all of us at the Devonshire.
SPECIAL VISITS
Maggie B was spoilt in style, receiving champagne, flowers & also a special gift from her son, who is affectionately referred to as ‘Birdie’. Swooping In to pass on flowers to his Mother, this was a great day all round for Maggie.
AWAITED TECHNOLOGY
Implementing the computerised person-centred software has been a great addition. Saving time and creating ease, staff are now able to do what they do best > care! This efficient way of reporting replaces the Quality Assurance Intel and audits we used to do by hand.
Maggie B was overjoyed with her flowers!
COVID CHALLENGES
Despite overcoming adversity, conquering challenges, and progressing through many restrictions, we are under no illusion that the pandemic is over. We will continue to be extra vigilant and on high alert to any fluctuating rules. We thank our care manager Smith, deputy care manager Donna & all of our staff for their commitment during these troubling times.
TESTING, TESTING…
We’re proud to announce that all Residents’ boosters are complete, and we continue to be vigilant by doing over 300 Covid tests each week. Staff are tested three times a week. Residents every 4 weeks and family visitors and professionals prove a negative test result before any visit, for any reason.
Stay safe & well. Our very best for you & your families for 2022!
