SINGING GROUP

“Music can do things that language simply can’t” - Post us your song requests, we’re all ears! Our Residents have been known to sing day & night to re acquire a sense of their individuality & ignite a spark in their memories. Described as ‘the quickening art’ - music restores connection & animated expressions. The correlation between music & people cannot be understated, with music said to alleviate anxiety & help us release endorphins to feel happier.

FRIENDSHIPS

Beatrice S is always asking the other Residents if they need any help, going as far as to join in with care staff to make sure everyone is okay. Eileen S & Muriel M love to sit and hold hands, laughing & chatting away about everything from what’s happening on the floor to what’s on the TV. Other Residents pair, explaining in detail to one another about all the array of individual flowers & colors they have at their leisure.

DRESS UP

Staff member Naseem (left) dressed up when she was doing all the Resident’s fingernails and foot spa therapy. Joyce N & Veronica T said they felt so special and honoured to let a beautiful lady to do their nails.

THE HEART NEVER FORGETS

One of the main reservation’s families may have regarding a care home is, will they be loved, celebrated and honoured in the same way that we do? The quick answer is yes. Not just a number, our Residents are treated with the full required concentration, support & respect that the individual deserves. We look past the illness and straight into the heart of the Resident, providing mindful techniques that result in maximum dignity by exploring past triumphs, successes, and feelings. (Pictured right) Jane S’s spirits are ‘going up’ like a full balloon, as she is ‘pumped’ to be partaking in our ball games.

CHESS

Check ‘mate’ our Residents are our teachers. Focused & Undefeated Charles C can’t be beaten
