LIFE AT THE DEVONSHIRE - JOYOUS JANUARY!

5-4-3-2-1 Happy New Year! Not the end of our story, but the beginning of an exciting new chapter! Excited about all things new, we clinked our drink to a fabulous 2023. Reflecting on a wonderful Christmas Day, our Residents and staff wore hats, pulled crackers, and enjoyed each other’s company as soul-soothing smiles created a heart-warming environment.

Hats off to our Residents! Epitomised by Joan, Barbara F and Peter’s starstruck reaction, our Residents were overjoyed with the ‘cracker’ of a spread we put on.

Our Residents feasted their eyes on a cracking feast that went down a treat!!

Delivering 1st class moments, Veronica loved her rose whilst Terry was surrounded in a colourful array and a fancy bouquet. ‘Thanks a bunch!’ Florence flourished!

Our activities team played “name the flower” as the snippets of sentiment continued! Beatrice paraded her flowers & Devika was overjoyed as she expressed bliss”

CHINESE NEW YEAR

We celebrated Chinese New Year with plenty of cheer as the year of the rabbit hopped towards us with ‘carats’ of gold moments. Gently easing our Residents into this fabulous tradition, we made authentic culture our mission as we marked the occasion with a spring roll or two!

“May the New Year bring plenty of joy that never fades and strength that never weakens”.

Our lucky Residents ‘cashed in’ on a special afternoon – led by inviting Red Envelopes.
