AFTERNOON TEA
An emotional reunion between our Director and Residents had even the cake in tiers.
Jackie smiles, Alan pours himself a tea and Smith shares a special embrace as the Lyons tearoom continues to roar with success.
Our specialist care takes a gentle side approach into consideration.
Over our 34 years of experience, our Residents have taught us a lot. A specific approach for each Resident is considered for meals that is tailored to each individual person’s retained abilities. We offer a Dementia Awareness Workshop which helps family carers understand Dementia. In addition, our Dementia Experience allows the perspective to ‘step into their shoes’ to gain an understanding that helps us deliver compassionate care.
FRESH AIR DRIVES!
Our Residents thrive during a fresh air drive as we beep our horn for a busload of fun. From Kathleen and Jackie’s friendship to Muriel’s fabulous new hat, the Residents revved up the joy with a thoroughly enjoyable ride out to Bushy Park. With the Residents aboard far from bored, Barbara was excited and delighted
by the prospect of fresh sights!
