Join us on Thursday 14th May for a FREE Dementia Awareness Workshop followed by the Virtual Dementia Tour. Due to the coronavirus national emergency this has temporarily been suspended.
 

You are invited to join us for a Free Dementia Awareness Workshop, which includes a Virtual Dementia Tour (VDT) and light refreshments on Thursday 14th May. We are supporting the Alzheimer's Society's Dementia Action Week. Our workshop will give you simple tips and we will share ​what we have learned over the past 30 years and answer questions to help you care for your loved one living with dementia.

Staff, families of Residents and Day Guests at the Devonshire say that the Virtual Dementia Tour is one of the most valuable experiences they have undergone to really understand what it feels like to have dementia. The props used replicate the experience and help people understand dementia better.
