April NEWSLETTER 2024
April showered with joy
FRESH AIR DRIVES HAVE RETURNED!
Our Fresh Air Drives returned with renewed hope and optimism as we drove to the famous Richmond Park! We played a game of ‘first to spot the reindeer’ before being comically corrected by Roger, who said ‘It’s actually just deer’. The winner of our game would be the ‘first’ to get an extra sandwich, much to the delight of everyone involved.
sad farewell
We bid a sad farewell to Anthony, who passed away. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this sad time.
MUSIC & MOVEMENT!
From laughter and lyrics to getting on our feet to feel the beat, our Residents thrive to a tune or two, whether it’s throughout Singing Group, or ‘just because’ when we take requests! Charles got up (as if to say): ‘Wow, I like this song’ as he took centre stage and Kathleen (during doll therapy) shared a touching moment and a song sheet with our compassionate care team.
MARKET STALL EXPERIENCE
Our Residents and Day Guests love to take a ‘trip’ to our vintage inspired market stall. From the warm familiarity of Beatrice doing the ‘weekly shop’ to the wholesome ways in which Kathleen and Irene can be seen choosing our ever popular crisps selection, which was a sweet moment
to savour.
