NOVEMBER SPARKED WITH SENTIMENT
With every magic moment that illuminated the sky, each Resident had a twinkle in their eye as we opened the month with a bang and had a rocket load of fun! Glowing with joy and hope in our hearts, our Residents certainly played their part as each watchful eye sparkled with sentiment from a front row seat.
Remember, Remember, the 5th November. A cracker of an evening – Florence, Beatrice, Peter and co witnessed a mesmeric display that made their day. From telescopic sparkle to a cup of tea (or two) we cosied in the lounge for a fabulous view.
Peter Cheekily said: ‘I’m glad to be this side of the fence’
LEST WE FORGET
We celebrated Remembrance Day on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month by honouring all the brave souls who sacrificed their lives so that we could live ours. We paid tribute to their memory with style. During poppy painting, Angelo said he ‘remembers the bravery’ and Jacqui noted: ‘they were heroes!’
Stood with pride, our compassionate care team were by the side of our Residents as they joined forces for a two minute silence, to honour the occasion. Veronica epitomised her personal pride by saying ‘oh my Dad used to do that!’
