Life at the devonshire

Typically humorous with thoughtful moments of joy, you can really feel the bond between staff and Residents from the moment you enter the care home.

Beatrice dances away, Terry said ‘I should be paid to sing’, Geoffrey charismatically says: ‘How you doing fella?’ and Veronica reaches out with a warm hand.

Margaret R said the day was ‘Lovely!’, Irene moved to the music, Andy said ‘Can I have this dance’ and Soledad was the ‘Sol’ of the party as she had us in ‘stitches’ of laughter.

INTERNATIONAL FLOWER DAY

On the 19th of January, we celebrated International Flower Day in our Day Centre by giving our Residents beautiful bouquets of flowers to evoke feelings of love, emotions and friendship! Cathy said: ‘You must have known I was coming’, Vivien and Devika delighted over their bouquets and Jacqui was visibly proud of her selection as she (and the rest of our group)
grew in joy from this snippet of sentiment.
