Life at the devonshire

December continued with magical flow as our Residents smiled with typical glow. Hats off for those who brought the magic of Christmas to life!

Pat was serenaded by our singer Ray, Beatrice spread cheer for all to hear, Eileen S whispered ‘Marvellous’ and Andy said: ‘I’ve got a front row seat’.

A flurry of specialist dementia activities were on show as we painted everything from Santa, penguins and snow. Tony and Jacqui’s entrance pleased Kathleen H! Sol told us: ‘I am short, but good things come in small bottles, such as expensive perfume’
and Joan S delighted us with: ‘How did you know I’d be here?!’…

A time for family – Devika and Peter were paid a visit from their sons, with the former saying: ‘Looks beautiful’ and the latter comically stating: ‘Who invited all this lot?’ Jane smiles with a member of the Devonshire family and compassionate (not just towards our Residents, but family members too) Donna shares a moment of magic with Irene’s husband Paschal.
