RETURN OF OUR DAY CENTRE!
Every day is special. Come and see why soon! Set to reopen on 4th April, our fabulous and famous Day Centre is about to return. From transporting back to the past in our tea rooms, to the amazing props and suitcase of memories we hold, our Residents past stories are captured, and memories are reignited as they choose to reflect on the decades in style. Our fabulous team are on hand to ensure that your relative is not only looked after for a much-needed reprieve, but also mentally stimulated to have as much fun and be in as much comfort as possible.

COFFEE & SINGING MORNINGS
Our coffee and singing mornings are the perfect blend between local community and a fun day out, joining together in a safe space and making great friends. Free every Wednesday from the 6th April 2022, 10:30-12:30.
BIRTHDAYS
Celebrating all our Residents (and staffs) birthdays alike, we make sure here at the Devonshire that no stone is left unturned when it comes to your day of birth. On January 24th, we celebrated Dorothy S’s birthday in style, where she received her favourite ‘blooming’ thing in the world – flowers! We had been so excited to gift Dot’s bouquet to her all day. Just one day later, Joan celebrated her birthday where she opened her presents and cards.
RETURNING TO NORMALITY - AS SAFE AS CAN BE
In line with government guidelines, Devonshire are delighted to be returning to ‘some form of’ normality soon. With all your favourite things returning, wash your hands and watch this space as we ‘out with the new’ and in with the old.
IF YOU’RE STRUGGLING
Whoever you are, or whatever your background - difficulty to understand what is happening to a family member is the same for us all. Delaying and delaying the next step due to simply not knowing what to do, is even more common. If your family member is displaying out of character behaviour, or signs of dementia, we’re here to help. Whether it’s a 5-minute chat or something more thorough, we’re here to help no matter your location or borough. Our specialist dementia team are on hand to not only help you make the next step, but to also alleviate any concerns, answer any questions and more importantly, support you in coping with this difficult next step.
