Friendships are so important at this wonderful time of the year. From Joyful January and Sublime Summer to Autumnal Activities and Festive Cheer, it’s time to peel back the advent windows of 2021 and let you in on a clue when it comes to 2022.
INDIVIDUAL NEEDS MET
Whether it’s a therapeutic pampering session, a ‘trip down the pub’ or transforming your bedroom into a captivating night sky, our meticulous level of care allows us to see through dementia and into our Residents’ likes, dislikes, and needs that not only stimulate their minds, but make them feel most comfortable. Through continuous research and specialist dementia expertise at our disposal, we simply love meeting the desires of our Residents.
FRIENDSHIPS
What a ‘Nice Touch’ - Peter L & Maggie B are always holding hands and engaging with each other on a day-to-day basis. Whether it’s a simple look, smile or fleeting moment of engagement, friendships are very important through winter, so these heart-warming gestures are amazing to see.

WE REMEMBERED THEM
On Remembrance Day, our Residents & staff done a two-minute silence to celebrate and honour not only those who fought in the war, but also the brave NHS, emergency service staff and all those we lost to Covid world wide.
BAKING
For goodness’s sake, let’s eat some cake. No mistaking with our baking, it’s ready steady BAKE! Cooking up a storm is quite the norm here this winter, and our cookery classes are the perfect mix of fun, sweet and joyful ingredients! Our batch of Residents love this one.

BIG HEART BAND
Let’s give a hand to our Big Heart Band. Opening our doors once more to a band with the biggest heart of them all, our big heart band gave our Residents a huge welcome in September. Vibrant & warm as ever, Residents can be seen clapping, dancing & singing.
SPOOKILY GREAT ACTIVITIES
No tricks, only treats - we love to offer a fun-filled Halloween each October. Striking the correct balance between a playful fright and enchanted delight. Our Residents simply love it when we put our heart into our seasonal celebrations - hosting fang-tastic events and spookily brilliant activities like pumpkin painting along the way! With our living area layered with spellbinding pumpkins, a cauldron of playful props and skeletons, it’s no wonder our Residents get so brooming excited in October.

AWESOME AUTUMN!
Closing out the year with a bang, our fireworks display not only illuminated our sky, but it truly brightened up our Residents’ faces as their spirits skyrocketed and their eyes sparkled in amazement.
