LIFE AT THE DEVONSHIRE - July 2022

Welcome to our July edition of our digital newsletter called 'Life at the Devonshire'.

JOYFUL JULY

Our Residents are our teachers and each day is a lesson, so we were front row centre for month number seven.

Far from benchwarmers – we actively flocked to enjoy the sights.

Angelo and Maggie shared a gentle handhold by a swan filled lake.

SW DEVON CLUB

The ball was in our Residents court as we felt ace in the sun at our grand slam event! This masterstroke from our team made everyone feel like a winner.

ABOVE AND BEYOND CARE

Our management not only have the means and passion to deliver compassionate care, but the needle to go above and beyond for our Residents. Smith and Donna thread on the front-line (often in stitches) as they joyfully sew for many helpful reasons.

“At the Devonshire, we have a passion for compassion”.

HANDS-ON GREEN FINGERS

Suckers for succulents, our plant nurturing ground force cast basked in the glory of the rare sun and gasped at the gorgeous greenery we have to offer.

Colourful in more ways than one, Veronica and Jackie adored their plants whilst our trio of gentleman (Brian, Angelo and Alan) relaxed with gentle ease.

ALL FUN AND GAMES

From celebratory jumps of joy to sound-bites of ‘I’ve won it!’ there is never a dull moment, and it’s easy to see why with our abundance of activities.

Peters’ passion to puzzle solve and Jane’s balloon hobby continued to inflate. Devika’s concise colouring impressed daily and Dot simply loves to read.
