ALZHEIMER’S SOCIETY CONFERENCE
“Setting diagnosis right for now & in the future”
On May 18th, our Director, Care Manager & Development Coordinator reconnected with Alzheimer’s UK after 3 years of Covid in support of Dementia Action Week. We have re-established a fundraising commitment to find a cure, gained powerful insight into how diagnosis rates improve, and shared our passion to raise awareness to improve the daily lives of people living with dementia and their loved ones.
DEMENTIA ACTION WEEK
We transformed our regular FREE Singing Group & Coffee Morning into a one-off event, singing away with our Residents before hosting an extra special Afternoon Tea in our Lyons Tea Room. We’d like to thank everyone who was able to attend!
Residents and members of the community joined us as we revelled in a quite wonderful afternoon tea & enjoyed a sweet and savoury selection.
Our FREE Singing Group & Coffee Morning resumed 10:30-12:30 Weds 24th May.
Francis clapped his hands & tapped his feet to the beat of our music as Angelo & Alan soaked in the atmosphere and epitomised joy ‘on repeat’…
Vintage products stimulate reminiscence as our themed day centre filled with treats! Donna delights once more as she shares laughter with Geoffrey & Diane.
