We were delighted to support and collaborate with Dr Beth Nolan of Positive Approach to Care to present evidence showing how effective using the hand under hand technique is (adapted for UK legislation) when assisting people living with dementia. From over 100 attendees to 50+ people who signed up to receive Teepa Snow’s newsletter, there were insightful conversations that took place regarding shared experiences as a care home using PAC. We are hosting Teepa Snow at the Devonshire in July 2024. More details on how to sign up for the workshop will be available on our website.

Due to our fabulous results hydrating Residents (50% decrease in hospitalisations) we have been approached by NHS Southwest London to take part in their Hydration Project along with 9 other homes in the area.
